Auditions

Auditions for Quincy Community Theatre’s production of Steel Magnolias will be held on Monday, March 15^th. Auditions will be held in the QCT Rehearsal Hall, and are by appointment.

Steel Magnolias will be performed April 30^th through May 2^nd and May 6^th through 9^th with technical rehearsals April 24^th and 25^th.

Roles are available for women of all ages.

Scripts will be available for check-out from the QCT Box Office, located inside the Oakley-Lindsay Civic Center. For more information or to sign up for an audition, please call QCT at 217/222-3209.

Steel Magnolias is the story of the close friendships of six ordinary Southern women, living in a small Louisiana town. The action takes place in Truvy's beauty salon, where the women who regularly gather there share in the small, humorous, every day events of life, as well as its unexpected crises. Through their joys and sorrows, the six women learn to endure hard times, and emerge from their individual struggles with confidence and grace.

Filled with humor and heartbreak, Steel Magnolias, will have you laughing and crying as you follow the realities of life.
